CLASSIFICATION:            Certified

 

FLSA STATUS:                 Exempt

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:   Salary and work year as reviewed and established annually by the Board of Education

 

EVALUATION:      Performance of this position will be evaluated regularly in accordance with the Board’s policy on the evaluation of certified staff.

 

JOB SUMMARY

Position requires Certified Teacher in the area of Special Education. Position duties to include working directly with students with disabilities, responsible for student lesson plans and instruction, writing IEP and compliance of IEP, supervision of one or more para-educators is likely. To provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to provide an appropriate education for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
